- Visa applicants are strongly advised to finalize their flight booking only after the visa is granted. The Embassy will not hasten the visa processing to accommodate the applicant’s flight schedule.
- Visa processing time is dependent on the applicant’s nationality. For example, processing could be faster if the applicant’s country has a visa agreement with the Philippines. It usually takes about two to three weeks. For some applicants, evaluation will require a longer period of time.
- Please note that no refund of visa application fee will be made if the visa application is denied or if the visa is approved after the applicant’s scheduled departure.
- The Embassy has the sole discretion to deny the visa or to refuse service to any individual.

Unaccompanied Travel of Minors
If the traveller is less than 15 years old and will not be accompanied by either parent, he/she must apply for a Waiver of Exclusion Ground (WEG). Travelers who fall under this category who do not possess the WEG may be denied entry into the Philippines, even if they are accompanied by an adult other than their parent.
